HENSOLDT already has several TRML-4D radars under contract for Ukraine as part of the IRIS-T SLM air defense system
The system allows simultaneous detection and tracking of up to 1,500 different targets at ranges from 0.01 to 250 km. The maximum height of detection reaches 30 km.Fighter jets and supersonic missiles can be escorted at a distance of up to 150 km and 60 km, respectively. The radar is equipped with “friend-or-foe” recognition systems, detection and jamming of obstacles. TRML-4D is mounted on a 8×8 chassis, and can be transported by A400M and C-130 aircraft.
