5. Iraq: 120 howitzers supplied from U.S., in June 2014 ISIS took over the Iraqi city of Mosul, at least 52 howitzers captured by ISIS.[8] They were later taken back during Battle for Mosul.
6. Lebanon: Total is 219 pieces. 36 Howitzers operated by the LAF since the 1980's, 41 Howitzers received in 2008, followed by 30 M-198 Howitzers in January 2010, 72 pieces delivered on February 8, 2015,[9] and a batch of 40 pieces on September 8, 2016.
7. Morocco: 35 units.
8. Pakistan: 124 in service with the Pakistan Army.
9. Saudi Arabia: 42
10. Somalia: 18 in service with Somali Armed Forces
11. Tunisia: 57–60 units in service.
12. Thailand: 116 units in service with Royal Thai Army[citation needed]

Former operators

1. Australia: 36
2. ISIS: 52 captured by Islamic State. Some were taken back while other were destroyed by air strikes.
