1. Skystar surveillance aerostat: The Skystar surveillance aerostat system provides its users with an "eye in the sky" at the altitude of 300–500 meters above the ground level. Tethered to the ground, the aerostat may stay airborne for long days with very short breaks for helium refill once in every 3 days. 5. Sep 17, 2013- Thailand Air force has placed an order for Aerostar tactical UAV. Aeronautics Defense Systems has won an order from Thailand Air Force for the company's Aerostar tactical unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV). This is the company's second order from this customer.The order is for the next-generation Aerostar, including real-time intelligence gathering systems, digital communications, and ground control stations.

8. The Royal Thai Air Force (RTAF) and the Israeli company Aeronautics Limited have signed a deal for the sale of Dominator XP medium-altitude long-endurance (MALE) unmanned aerial vehicles (UAV). The contract covers an unknown number of UAVs, plus ground control stations (GCS) and accompanying services over a period of three years, with a price tag of $27m.The Dominator XP is the second Aeronautics-made UAV system to join the RTAF inventory after the air arm received six Aerostar drones. These entered service in 2012. More recently, the Thai armed forces took delivery of four Elbit Systems Hermes 450 UAVs that serve with the 21st Aviation Battalion, Royal Thai Army.The Dominator XP is based on the Diamond DA42 Twin Star four-seat twin turboprop, which is already in RTAF use for training applications. As a drone, it can carry a payload up to 900lb (373kg) and can fly for as long as 28 hours at 75-190kts up to a maximum altitude of 30,000ft (9,100m).The UAV can carry multiple payloads via an open architecture interface, including electro-optical/infrared (EO/IR) and hyper-spectral sensors with laser pointer and designator, a maritime radar, synthetic aperture radar/ground moving target identification (SAR/GMTI) radars, communications relays systems, communications intelligence/electronic intelligence (COMINT/ELINT) packages, magnetic anomaly detector (MAD) and others. According to unofficial sources, the UAV can also carry light ordnance such as small bombs and missiles. 9. 05 JANUARY, 2011  The Royal Thai Air Force has bought an Aerostar unmanned air vehicle system from Aeronautics Defense Systems of Israel. There are options to sell more systems in the near future, sources say. In 2009, Thailand's air force outlined its need for a UAV capability, and evaluated several options before selecting the Israeli design. The Aerostar is 4.5m (14.8ft) long, has a wingspan of 7.5m and a maximum take-off weight of 210kg (463lb). The air vehicle has a 12h endurance and a loiter speed of 60kt (110km/h).

Austrian company Schiebel has won a contract for the production and supply of an undisclosed number of Camcopter S-100 rotary-wing unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) for the Royal Thai Navy (RTN).The UAVs will be deployed in 2020 to the Pak Phanang District of southern Thailand's Nakhon Si Thammarat Province, as well as "on the RTN frigate fleet to conduct" land- and sea-based ISR operations, said Schiebel, adding that this is the first time the RTN will be using a vertical take-off and landing (VTOL) unmanned aerial system (UAS) for maritime operations.

The Camcopter S-100 UAS is equipped with two payload bays and an auxiliary electronics bay. The stabilised day and night electro-optical / infra-red (EO / IR) sensors and thermal surveillance equipment help capture high-definition images, which are transmitted in real-time to the ground control station (GCS) via a line of site data link having a 180km range. The system can carry synthetic aperture radar (SAR), maritime radar, ground penetrating radar (GPSAR), signal intelligence (SIGINT) and communication intelligence (COMINT), communication relays, ATMID all terrain mine detector, light detection and ranging (LIDAR) scanners, loudspeakers, transponders, dropping containers and under-slung loads. The UAS is also equipped with Remotely Operated Video Enhanced Receiver (ROVER) system for surveillance and two side payload hardpoints. The system navigates using an inertial navigation system (INS) and a global positioning system (GPS), and is fitted with Riegl VQ-820-GU Hydrographic Airborne Sensor, Thales I-Master radar system and a CORONA 350 airborne sensor, and a Shine micro automatic identification system.

Schiebels CAMCOPTER® S-100 Unmanned Air System (UAS) is an operationally proven capability for military and civilian applications. • YANGON/VIENNA - A UN expert has called on the European Union and Austrian authorities to investigate whether a Vienna-based company violated an arms embargo by selling drones to Myanmar. Christopher Sidoti, a member of the UN fact-finding mission on Myanmar, made the call after government documents showed Myanmar’s military-run Defence Ministry requested millions of US dollars to buy the aircraft.
