Infrared Passive Homing Missile

Infrared is hot temperature.

Temperature can illustrate as color

xy-dicyanoacetylene 4,990 °C (9,000 °F)
Oxy-acetylene 3,480 °C (6,300 °F)
Oxyhydrogen 2,800 °C (5,100 °F)
Air-acetylene 2,534 °C (4,600 °F)
Blowtorch (air-mapp gas) 2,200 °C (4,000 °F)
Bunsen burner (air-natural gas) 1,300 to 1,600 °C (2,400 to 2,900 °F)[11]
Candle (air-paraffin) 1,000 °C (1,800 °F)

Let see a temperature of airframe

The airframe of combat aircraft temperature up to 1500 Celsius.

The Infrared Homing Missile designed to search for heat/hot spot.

The qualified system will not confuse with a temperature of the troposphere (15km from land surface)

As per see the below picture, a temperature inside the aircraft is over 1000 degree Celsius compared to very low temperature of troposphere. .

For confuse an Infrared Passive Homing Missile, the aircraft produce other infrared to cheat a missile as here. It calls counter-infrared guide missile.

To response the above conception, the Infrared Guide Missile designed other tool to attack the target, it calls as counter-counter infrared missile

Conclusion: The aircraft will not survive because the missile will attack only at maximum 6km to 2 km as minimum with speed of 360m/ second. The aircraft only fly at 230m/second in the course of combat.
