Why Nuclear Attack in Japan 1945?

I say Nuclear attack, but not mention of whether "bomb" or "artillery cannon"? Why it targets Japan? Where the land for produced such " Nuclear "? Some said the US, other said Australia is home made that Atomic. Last couple years, people saying of big hole dig by the drop atomic bomb. Other saying of using big umbrella to carry that bomb ( have no digging hole"..take a look..
