Kh-101/Kh-555 cruise missiles

Kh-101 At around 03:00, Kh-101/Kh-555 cruise missiles, fired by Tu-95MS strategic bombers from the Caspian Sea, were already in Ukrainian airspace. They came in from the north, attacking Kyiv, manoeuvring to mislead our air defences."

The launch of eight Kh-101 (Kh-555) missiles on Ukraine by the occupying forces on 2 August cost Russia almost US$100 million.

Around 90% of Russia's drones and missiles fired in May were destroyed, the Kyiv Post reported. The Ukrainian outlet estimated that the munitions cost the Kremlin around $1.7 billion. The bulk of the expenses came from destroyed Kh-55 missiles, which cost around $1.48 billion

Details: According to Forbes Ukraine, a Kh-101 missile costs $13 million, a Kalibr $6.5 million, an Iskander $3 million, an Onyx $1.25 million, a Kh-22 $1 million, and a Tochka-U $0.3 million.

Background: On the evening of 2 August, Russia fired 8 missiles at Ukrainian territory, 7 of which were shot down by the air defence system.
