NASAMS (Norwegian Advanced Surface-to-Air Missile System) is the world’s first operational Network Centric Short to Medium Range Ground Based Air Defence System. NASAMS, which is used to guard airspace over the White House and the Pentagon, were exported to Hungary and India in recent years, among other territories ។The U.S. has provided more than $8.8 billion in weapons and other military training to Ukraine, $6.9 billion of it since Russia invaded Ukraine on Feb. 24.

The missile defense system, or NASAMS system, can strike targets over 100 miles (170 km) away, according to the source.

The suggested system is NASAMS, which will require more training for Ukrainian users. The U.S. government is going to send two systems to Ukraine to "defend against cruise missiles and aircraft."
