The Ministry of Defense of Bolivia received 31 new Shaanxi Tiger 4×4 light armoured vehicles, as part of a military aid agreement of about $ 8 million signed with China. That reported by Paulo Bastos.

The new Tiger 4×4 is a light armoured vehicles developed by Shaanxi Baoji Special Vehicles Company China. The Tiger APC has a crew of 2, which consists of the commander and driver, and can carry 9 fully equipped infantrymen. The Tiger is a 4×4 light armoured vehicle with room for up to 10 people, including the driver.

The Tiger can run at a maximum road speed of 110 km/h with a maximum operational range of 600 km. The vehicle can climb 60% slope fully-loaded and cross a water depth of 800 mm without preparation and 1.2 m with preparation.

This turret can receive different armaments according to the customer’s requirements. We do not know what the specific armament of the eight purchased vehicles is, but the standard equipment is a 7.62mm machine gun.
